SIDDHA HOLISTIC HEALTHCARE AND RESEARCH
FOUNDATION (SHAARC) (SHAARC Profile) is
an offshoot of Arogya. SHAARC is
Non-government, non-profitable organization.
Founded by three Siddha Doctors and 7
philanthropists, SHHARC involved in various
activities (View Programs) to promote
positive health care among people. The key
functionaries are
Dr. Shankar : A qualified Siddha
Doctor, Chief of Ezhil Siddha Hospital,
Chengleput, which provides holistic
treatment in Siddha, Ayurvedha medicines.
Patients with Infertility and related
diseases are treated here.
Dr. Ashok : A qualified Siddha
Doctor, The Director of Deeksha Hospital,
providing Siddha treatment. Deeksha provides
a holistic treatment and provides yoga and
varma treatments for chronic ailments. As a
community development Deeksha provides
personality development courses for school
and college students. Deeksha also actively
involved in creating awareness on AIDS and
they are involved in many such social
development projects in Salem.

of Siddha medicine, Doctorate scholar, and
Managing Director Of Arogya Health care Pvt
Ltd.
SHHARC have operations in Chennai and
Salem. In Salem, SHHARC has Deeksha Siddha
Hospital - a full-fledged hospital. The gist
of SHHARC Activities includes Medical camps,
Herbal awareness programme, seminars, free
workshops, free health check-ups and
awareness programs on AIDS, Yoga therapy,
People oriented Medicare, use of herbals in

Heath India Foundation - Profile link
This is a Non-Governmental Organization
registered under Trust Act in the year 2000.
This foundation is started with a noble
cause of conducting clinical service,
research and documentation in the filed of
HIV disease, the role of Siddha medicine
fighting this disease, integrated approach (Siddha
& Allopathy) in the treatment of HIV
disease. Dr. C.N.Deivanayagam FRCP, former
superintendent of GHTM, Chennai and National
consultant for WHO is the President and
founder of the Foundation.
Currently in Tamilnadu with Red Cross
Society, HIF is running a family clinic with
two Siddha Physician and one modern
physician under Dr.C.N.Deivanayagam. In this
clinic about 30-40 patients were treated,
25% amongst them were HIV +ves. Health India
Foundation is now becoming a landmark to HIV
+ves to their future.

Managing Director of Arogya Health Care Pvt
Ltd., is actively participating in Health
India Foundation's clinical services and
research and holding the responsibility of
Joint Secretary.
Traditional Heritage of Indian Medicine
Research Trust (THIRST)
A non-profitable charity trust formed with
an objective to carryout extensive research
and standardization of Siddha Drugs and
Medicinal plants. Thirst's activities would
be as a conduit between Industry and
Research activities. The benefit of research
will go to the industry and in turn the
needs/challenges of the industry would be
the base for our research. |
