Cervical Spondylosis

Cervical spondylosis is a type of degenerative disease of the spine of the neck. With cervical spondylosis, the discs normally present between the vertebral bones become compressed and the cartilage that lines the vertebrae on each side of the disc, can wear away. Once the protective cartilage is gone, spurs develop on the vertebrae where they rub together pressing on the exiting neves. cervical spondylosis causes pain in the neck with radiating pain to shoulders and arms. vertigo and numbness of the arms may also be present.

Cervical spondylosis in Siddha is sagana vatham in which the spine of the neck and below are painful with vertigo,burning sensation of eyes.
